The latest video from Ruess' 2015 solo album 'Grand Romantic' was directed by Alistair Legrand who previously worked with Fischler in the movie 'The Diabolical'.

AceShowbiz - Nate Ruess has just released a music video for his song "Take It Back". Premiering on Nerdist Tuesday, January 12, the clip reunites "The Diabolical" director Alistair Legrand and Patrick Fischler who stars in the film.

Fischler, also known for his role as Jimmy Barrett on "Mad Men", is the main focus of Ruess' latest visuals. He plays a lonely man who spends his nights singing every line of the song alone in a minimally-lit karaoke room.

"Take It Back" is featured on Ruess' solo album "Grand Romantic" that he dropped in June last year. The Fun. frontman told Nerdist of hiring Fischler for the video, "The only thing better than not having to be in your own video is having someone as cool as Patrick taking your place. And because of what an incredible job he did, I'm currently holding auditions for someone to do interviews and press photos for me too."

"I'm a huge fan of Nate, a huge fan of this song and a huge fan of [director Alistair Legrand], so needless to say I was a huge fan of this job," Fischler added. "I haven't had this much fun in years."
