Hanna discovers a tattered note from Maya underneath one of the plants outside of her home. The Little Liars all get together to try and put together what it says. They quickly realize Maya left it the night that she was killed! Hanna and Emily work together and discover that one of the photos on Maya's website was taken at Noel Kahn's cabin. What was she doing there? They set off in search of answers.
Hanna and Emily head to the cabin, while Spencer snoops in Noel's locker in the school gym. At Noel's cabin, Hanna and Emily discover Maya have been living there. They find her bag, which has some mysterious items in it. While they're going through Maya's things, "A" locks them in! They manage to escape, but once they're freed, they notice "A" has left them a message: "I'm saving you for later."
After Noel catches Spencer going through his things, he sends her a video from the security camera at his cabin the night Maya died. After watching it, the girls realize that Garrett, Jenna nor Noel could have killed Maya. Someone else did it.
Meanwhile, Aria confronts Ezra about keeping his past a secret from her. He points out that she kept the "A" secret from him. Later, when she goes to apologize, he tells her he's tracked his ex down. Hanna tells Wren she can't date him and reveals to Emily that she and Caleb are back together. Ella and Zach grow closer. And Emily and Nate share a kiss -- which Paige sees.
