Garrett and "A" are seemingly exchanging messages via his sick mother. The Liars intercept one that says to get rid of Amber Rose and they set up a sting at the Rosewood church to see who shows up. Wilden shows up instead of "A" and says that he intercepted the note and asks Hanna why she is helping Garrett.

Meanwhile, Emily's jacket from that night shows up at the clothing drive at the Rosewood church and Hanna tracks where the jacket came from. Emily goes to the drop off location and has a memory from that night where she sees a tattoo of a man's hand on her wrist who was helping her stand up.

The Liars think Garrett is working with "A" to get rid of evidence that shows he's guilty because Garrett did what "A" told him to do and that's what got him in prison. Following the Amber Rose tip, Spencer and Jason work together to deliver a bracelet of Ali's to the cops which they think will prove Garrett's guilt.

Elsewhere, Aria finds a bag filled with cash in Ezra's sock drawer.
