Jim realizes that Stanley doesn't pay attention to anything in the office other than his crossword puzzle. So, the rest of his co-workers set up wacky scenes to get his attention - including Pam with a mustache and Dwight with a pony. Stanley doesn't notice a thing and leaves at 5:00 p.m., like every other day.

It's Halloween at the office and everybody is dressing up for the costume contest and a chance to win a Scranton coupon book worth $15,000. Gabe tells the staff that delivery drivers will now have the chance to make sales while on their route. Michael tells Darryl that they are essentially using his original idea and he's not getting credit for it. Darryl doesn't seem mad about the news.

The rest of the office is thinking Pam is attracted to the new traveling salesman, Danny, especially because they went on a few dates before she started dating Jim. Pam assures Jim that she and Danny went out on only two dates and it was him who never called her again. Now the rest of the office is torn - should they go to Danny's Halloween party at his bar, Public School?

Michael announces to the office that the idea of drivers making sales was Darryl's idea and he's going to call Corporate and tell them. Gabe tells Michael that Corporate is already aware that it was Darryl's idea. Now Michael is upset with Darryl for going behind his back to begin with. Michael starts feeling paranoid, wondering who else is going behind his back.

The costume contest begins in the office with all of the employees strutting down a catwalk. Even Angela dresses up as a sexy nurse because she knows sex sells in the office. Michael is still harboring a grudge over Darryl's Corporate move. In the end, it's Oscar's "rational consumer" costume that wins.

Jim wants to know why Danny never called Pam back after their two dates. First, Danny lies and said Pam kept talking about Jim the whole time, but Pam tells Jim that she never even mentioned Jim on the dates. Danny gets honest and tells Pam that she was a little "dorky" for him. Obviously offended, she walks away from Danny.

Gabe is forced to mediate Darryl and Michael's issue. Gabe says the next time Michael or Darryl have a bright idea to bring it to him and he'll be the one who brings it to Corporate. But Darryl and Michael decide that if it's a really good idea, they'll go over Gabe's head and call up Jo instead. Darryl tells Andy that he does have big plans with this company.
