Alice wants an assistant. Hey, Roman's available! The enthusiastic kid gets the gig. Later, Ben gets an email from Alice. It says that even though she sees him all the time, she misses him. Could this mean that Alice wants to get back together with her former fling? Or could it mean that she accidentally sent Ben an email that was intended for Alonzo? We'll go with the latter.

When Ben tries to confront Alice, he catches her chatting with Alonzo and his ex-wife, Tanya. The two of them are still very good friends. Roman is impressed at how well Alice is handling this situation. After all, Tanya is a beautiful woman and Alonzo seems rather nonchalant about the email Alice sent him. That would be one that went to Ben by mistake.

Ben ropes Roman into doing a little digging in the case of the confusing email. Meanwhile, Alice discovers that Alonzo is actually still married to Tanya. It's in name only so she can stay on his health insurance plan. Apparently, Tanya has some funky foot stuff happening.

Alice is upset by the Alonzo situation, not to mention the fact that Ben is privy to her problems thanks to his inside man-child, Roman. Once the email mystery is solved, Alice and Alonzo make nice. Ben also apologizes to Roman for using him as a spy. It almost cost him an assistant job in which he actually shines. Thankfully, Alice keeps him on. After all, she needs someone to follow up on all those emails she sends.

The P.A. announcer at the Sunshine Center is known as Rod the Bod. Well, not really. That's just something the guy calls himself. Rod's been a little off his game lately. Personal issues have led to some fairly offensive announcements echoing through the arena. Rod the Bod promises Ben that he'll bounce back. He doesn't. Ben fires the guy in his underwear. To be clear, Rod the Bod was in his boxers, not Ben.

Crystal is saddened to learn that Nadia the cleaning lady has passed away. She wants to hold a memorial service for her dear friend. Yes, believe it or not, Crystal and Nadia were very close. The two of them would often chat during late night drinks. That's why this memorial service is important enough for Crystal to book Susan Boyle to sing "Uptown Girl" for a friend no longer living in her uptown world.

When Crystal learns that Nadia had been ripping her off for years, she decides she's going to trash her during the eulogy. Crystal somewhat changes her tune when she realizes Nadia's granddaughter is named after her. Oh, she still rips Nadia a new one during the eulogy, but the character slams are interspersed with kind words about the little thief she loved. It's a touching/disturbing tribute that Rod the Bod punctuates with some truly inappropriate announcements. At least he's not in his underwear.
