After a jarring dream about her suddenly alive husband, Becca awakens to receive a call from Mary. They talk about trusting the men they've loved. It's a subject Becca thought she knew something about until recently. Now that Paul Winstone has reemerged, Becca is persona non grata at the CIA substation in Paris. That's probably because Dax doesn't know for sure that she isn't working with Paul. He orders Violet to tail her.

Giancarlo says that Paul made a deposit in a longtime inactive bank account in Prague. Becca's prints are on file, so she's allowed to access the account which is under the name Pavel Medved. There's a safe-deposit box that can only be accessed by scanning the thumbprints of all three members of the Winstone family. Becca knows Paul led her to the safe-deposit box. A cryptic sign below a clock tower indicates that he wants to meet with her. Giancarlo wants to come along as backup, but Becca must go alone.

Flashbacks reveal that Paul knew about Becca's relationship with Giancarlo. He partially blamed himself for her affair. It's one of the reasons why Paul wanted to quit the agency. He longed to be a real family. Becca was reluctant to leave until a time when a young Michael went missing for at an outdoor carnival. He ended up finding his dad, so all was well. This all happened the same day Paul secretly met with the mystery man we first saw in "Ice Queen."

A CIA field team tries to keep eyes on Becca as she makes her way through the busy streets. They lose sight of her. Dax is frustrated until Becca steps up from behind to offer him a cup of coffee. Yes, it's embarrassing. It's also a wakeup call for Dax. Becca is his only lead in the search for Paul. He reluctantly lets her free to do her thing after she gives him the scoop on Paul's bank account.

Becca arrives at the castle square that she knows to be the rendezvous point with Paul. He's not there, but a team of bad guys are. It's a trap. Becca does her best to fight them off, but she's outnumbered. The mystery man from before approaches. He assures Becca that her son is alive for now. He also lets her know that intends to cut off her thumb for her print. VROOM! Giancarlo speeds up to the scene on his motorcycle. His actions force the bad guys to flee the scene. Becca is glad he insisted on coming along.

Workaholic Dax flips through pictures of Becca on his laptop in his hotel room. Violet, who happens to waiting for him naked in his bed, wonders why he let her go. She doesn't want him to mess up his career. A short time later, Dax learns about the safe-deposit box in the bank. He's denied access, but is certain Becca will be coming after it. He knows her so well. Becca tells Giancarlo that they need to rob that bank.

After Michael helps Oksana with her insulin shot, his captors prop him up against a wall to take his picture. It's an indication they will be moving him very soon. He needs to escape before that happens. Oksana distracts the men who enter through a tunnel under the castle so that Michael can sneak out. Before he leaves, he finds a case filled with dozens of AK-47s. He also catches sight of a man in a Hazmat suit roaming around the basement. There are additional suits in another room.

Michael makes his way through the tunnel to the outside world. A train is passing. It's his ticket to freedom. Michael thinks about Oksana. Their captors regulate her insulin supply so she can't escape. That's her weakness. Michael's feelings for her are supposed to be his weakness. He lets the train pass. His chance for escape is gone. For now, that is. Michael swipes a cell phone that gets no signal and vials of insulin from the basement so that Oksana can escape with him another time. She may be Michael's weakness, but he may be her salvation.

Becca gives the bank the idea that she wants to store some items in her own safe-deposit box. Dax and his team know she's there for a much different reason. As Becca works to access Paul's box, the CIA picks up Giancarlo outside with the schematics of the bank. Alarms sound. Becca has only a few minutes before the police storm the area. No problem. She's done all she needs to do by the time they arrive. The authorities find no stolen items on Becca. They have no choice but to let her and Giancarlo go.

As it turns out, Becca was counting on Dax and his team to be at the bank. It was just the diversion she needed to ditch the items from Paul's box into a trashcan. Giancarlo retrieves the goods. He returns them to Becca, who share the contents with Dax. Inside, there are stock certificates for a Russian heating and oil company that are worth about a quarter of a billion dollars.

There's also a deed for a remote location outside of Prague. Becca says it has to do with "the three bears." That's a story Paul used to tell Michael about a castle that had everything the three of them would ever need. The castle, as it turns out, is a remote cabin in the woods. The place is rigged with explosives. Becca thinks she can disarm it. She punches in a code that stops a countdown clock, but only temporarily. It's ticking down to zero and there's no way to escape the blast before time runs out.
