Mike's birthday is coming up, and he is caught in the middle as Molly and Peggy butt heads over what to serve at his party because of his diet. Molly is trying to keep Mike on his weight loss plan by eating healthy, but Peggy insists on feeding him junk because she thinks that's the only way he will come visit her. Ultimately, Molly and Peggy try to put their differences aside and work together to ensure Mike has a great birthday. Meanwhile, Carl and Samuel compete for the affections of Shyama, a new waitress at Abe's.
