Mike and Molly are discussing saving money for the wedding, when Mike sees Vince drive up in his 1957 Chevy Bel Air. Mike immediately agrees to Vince's terms until Molly intervenes. It's clear Mike really wants the car, but Molly doesn't think it's a great idea. Mike shows the car to Carl who convinces Mike to buy it, despite having heard stories from his grandmother about how she lost her virginity in a '57 Bel Air. Mike takes Molly for a drive in the car and just as she agrees that maybe they could swing it, Mike reveals that he already bought the car. Molly's furious at having been duped and tries to make the point that, now they're engaged, it's not his and her money, it's their money and these big decisions have to be made together. Despite the argument, Mike insists he's in love with the car, even after it starts having major mechanical problems. In the end, Vince buys back the car from Mike and Mike and Molly have a candid discussion about their finances.
