When an Alamo beer employee overhears Peggy speaking Spanish, he hires her as a customer care rep for the company. As part of the company's confidentiality agreement, Peggy promises not to divulge any company information. She sticks to her pledge despite the pleadings of Hank, who is dying to know more about Alamo because it's his favorite beer.
When Peggy gets complaints at work about a batch of beer being tainted and causing customers to vomit, she decides not to tell Hank because of the agreement. Peggy becomes racked with guilt when Hank starts vomiting and swears off all beer. Peggy, in an Erin Brockovich-type moment, takes on a crusade against the Alamo when they decide not to recall the beer. Hank, who has resorted to drinking wine spritzers in the alley, is angry ar Peggy for not telling him about the tainted beer. Peggy's crusade is successful if for nothing else then regaining Hank's trust in both her and beer.
