It's a busy night at Boobylicious and Amanda is taking care of business, putting rowdy customers in their place the way only she can. She's thrown for a loop when she learns she has a special customer -- Pastor Tudor, who is here with Ripp to discuss church business. Tudor compliments Amanda's grace under pressure and says he has a special offer for her...

Later that night, Amanda is snuggling up with Luke at his place (Carlene's guest house) when she explains the offer: part-time work as Tudor's church secretary. Luke thinks that doesn't sound like much fun but Amanda is looking forward to it. They kiss, and it's about to get more serious when Carlene blows in and interrupts them -- clearly on purpose.

The next day, Cricket and Blake are engaged in an intense job interview: for a potential surrogate to carry their child. They aren't infertile, but Cricket doesn't want to make the sacrifices necessary when pregnant. The candidate fails to live up to their standards, and they wonder: Will anyone be good enough to carry the next Caruth-Reilly?

At the Peacham home, Sharon shows off her new, slimmer body to Zack. She credits a Bible-based meal plan she created for herself. Zack's impressed, but his mind seems elsewhere.

It's Amanda's first day at the job as church secretary, and she arrives to find the GCBs blowing in with a list of things they want to talk Tudor's ear off about. Amanda manages to get rid of them, and learns that keeping an appropriate distance between them and Tudor is a big reason he hired her. She accepts the challenge.

It's a full house at church on Sunday. After excusing the children to Sunday School, Pastor Tudor delivers a sermon on an unexpected topic: "Sex is Divine!" Jaws drop as Tudor talks about the importance of sex and intimacy in marriage. He proposes everyone in a committed relationship have sex once a day for the next week. Everyone is atwitter about the sermon at Coffee Hour afterwards. Amanda hides her nervousness as she and Luke make a sexy date for a few days from now. Meanwhile, Blake talks Cricket into trying to have their baby naturally, despite the obvious obstacles (he's gay!). And Carlene overhears her son Landry and Amanda's daughter Laura talking about the sermon topic... and flirting! She is clearly outraged.

Later in the day, Gigi helps Burl take a look at a new house he is considering buying, when Burl shocks her by getting down on one knee and proposing!

Zack and Sharon have made good on their assignment from Tudor, and are on top of the world after having sex for the first time in ages. In the moment, Zack opens up about the slow business at work, as well as his occasional enjoyment of "adult films." The moment brings him and Sharon closer.

Meanwhile, Cricket and Blake's first attempt at sex goes less smoothly. His lack of finesse and her curiosity about his gay sex life send them collapsing into giggles... nothing is happening between the sheets for them tonight.

Gigi shares the proposal news with Amanda and also lets her know that she didn't give him answer. Amanda is shocked. Gigi explains that she's been single for as long as she was married, and she likes single (and her independence) just fine.

At the church office, the phone is off the hook with positive and negative comments regarding Tudor's sermon, which is exactly what he was hoping would happen. But when Carlene kicks a mother's group out of the Fellowship Hall, it's up to Amanda to find out why and fix it. It seems Carlene has founded a youth purity group... the Purity Pioneers! It's her attempt to counter the impure influence of Tudor's "sex sermon." Amanda reminds Carlene she didn't sign out the Fellowship Hall and so, kicks her and her Pioneers out!

Sharon and Zack have once again been at it... in the back seat of his car! It's high school all over again for them. Zack opens up about his insecurity over gaining weight and Sharon offers to make him her special Bible-based meals. Zack is worried that sex is making him too vulnerable and open, but Sharon tells him it's good! There's nothing to be afraid of... or is there?

Blake is at home with Cricket and talks her into taking another stab at natural conception... with the help of some barely legal herbal supplements that are guaranteed to get things going for them in bed. Cricket agrees and they pop the pills. But all they wind up doing is sending her and Blake into a sweaty, hilarious, caffeinated frenzy -- they've failed again.

At Gigi's place, she's invited Burl over for dinner, only to seduce him into bed. He resists -- he wants an answer to his proposal first -- but Gigi says, as adults, they can enjoy each other as they please. Burl is game... until he gets too excited and has a cardiac episode. The paramedics take him away, leaving an upset Gigi in their wake.

Zack comes home only to find Sharon waiting, ready to seduce him once again! Zack's afraid of what he'll say after sex this time, but he can't resist, and so they get to it... in the kitchen! Afterward, Sharon decides to pounce and ask for a Bible-style brick oven, when Zack lays the news on her: His dealership is going under and there's nothing they can do about it. He finally sees the value of his vulnerability. Off Sharon, not so thrilled with this outpouring of honesty...

The next day, Gigi goes to Burl to accept his proposal, only to have the proposal rescinded -- he won't accept a "pity yes." Meanwhile, Amanda discovers that Laura has become one of Carlene's Purity Pioneers. Amanda storms to the church to discover Carlene setting up an insane hall of horrors about sex in the Fellowship Hall to hopefully scare the kids out of it. She and Carlene go at it, and Tudor shows up and shuts the whole thing down, but not before they all discover Laura and Carlene's son Landry making out in one of the exhibits. Guess it didn't work after all.

Amanda and Carlene sit down in the church sanctuary for a more adult heart-to-heart about sex, where Carlene is shocked to learn how inexperienced sexually Amanda is, and Amanda, in turn, is shocked to learn how much experience Carlene had with boys before marrying Ripp. (She never went all the way with anyone but her husband, but she got pretty close.) Carlene and Amanda want their kids to learn the right lessons about sex, but realize there's only one way to do it. Later, back at their homes, Carlene winds up sitting down with Laura to share her hilarious regrets about going too far with boys at Laura's age. And Amanda winds up scaring the bejeezus out of Landry with the consequences of going too fast with a girl. It seems like both parents have set their children on the right track... for now.

In the Caruth-Reilly master suite, Cricket and Blake are in bed and seem to have given up on natural procreation... until a scene from Spartacus excites both of them. They finally have sex. And back at the Peachams, Sharon comes home to find Zack in tears... because he's lost five pounds eating Sharon's amazing Bible-based meals! Screw his dealership, her meals are an amazing business opportunity, and he is going to do everything he can to support her and make it happen. Zack and Sharon are closer than ever. Sex truly is divine!

The next day, Gigi has tricked Burl into meeting her at the house he was considering for purchase, and gets him to overcome his stubbornness and agree to marry Gigi. Meanwhile, Amanda meets Luke for their sexy date at a fancy hotel, and explains she's been reluctant to have sex with him because he'd only be the second man for her ever. They agree there's no rush, but the moment is so sweet it overtakes Amanda -- and she pounces on Luke anyway.
