Abby brought in Joe to his first play group and felt awkward for showing up late. All the moms looked at her funny and criticized her baby carrier. They thought Joe should be carried in a sling and Abby assured them she was a doctor and would know what was best for Joe. The teacher thought Abby should leave the play group.

Pratt was taking his interns on rounds and becoming frustrated more and more with their lack of knowledge. Gates showed that he was the only intern who knew all of the answers to all of the questions. He even helped the other interns with their answers. But, Pratt turned on Gates when he found out that Gates wasn't keeping up to date with his patient charts.

Dr. Crenshaw asked a young intern, Katie, to shadow Neela in surgery. The stint was short lived when Neela got paged to the ER and reluctantly followed. Neela found Kovac working on a grandfather and grandson who were injured following a chainsaw accident.

Morris surprised one of his kids that he created as a sperm donor by showing up to his soccer team. Max's mom became more alert when she noticed a stranger cheering for her son when he made a goal. When the mom became alarmed, Morris was confronted and pushed one of the fathers to the ground. This angered the parents even more.

After leaving the play group, Abby left for the city park to meet some normal moms. Instead, she found a group of nannies. The nannies all thought that Abby was just one of them, and Abby lead them to believe that. The nannies all talked about having affairs with the fathers of the babies and how some have gotten pregnant by them. Abby began to rethink her hiring a nanny idea.

Neela was forced to tell Pratt that surgery couldn't accept any more of his patients. He wanted to send patients there anyway, but she told him that she had to follow Dr. Crenshaw's rules. Pratt was annoyed that Neela was refusing to take the patient. Pratt had to leave to worry about Gates and his handling of patients and his charts.

Pratt's patient needed an airway created and wasn't sure what to do. Neela was also in the room and assured Pratt she assisted on many of these kind of surgeries, but this was going to be her first actual surgery in creating an airway. Pratt warned her it was his career on the line if she failed. Dr. Crenshaw walked in on the surgery and lectured her for performing the surgery without anybody else from surgery in attendance. The surgery was a success.

The police were called to investigate Morris and his behavior at the soccer game. His son, Max was there with one of his moms who was getting checked on for a sprained wrist. Max came forward and explained that Archie was his biological father, shocking both his moms.

Kovac came home to find Abby relaxing on the couch. He told her that maybe they should get a nanny and Abby immediately nixed the idea and said they didn't need one. She explained that they could raise Joe on their own.

After teasing Gates and cutting him and his ego down to size, Pratt was ready to call it a night. He noticed one of his interns having a hard time with a patient and decided to stay just a little later in the ER to assist her on her progress.
