"Dallas" is an upcoming American drama television series that revolves around the Ewings, a wealthy Texas family in the oil and cattle-ranching industries. The pilot will not be a remake of the original series of the same name that aired on CBS from 1978 to 1991, but a continuation of the series and will focus around John Ross Ewing III, the son of J.R. Ewing and Christopher Ewing, the adopted son of Bobby Ewing.
