New 'Dallas' Promo Shares What's Inside the Characters' Head

TNT has released a new promo for its upcoming series "" which will premiere this summer. Sharing a longer look at the drama show, it opens with footage of the Ewing clan sitting together for a meal while having different thoughts.

"Southfork was meant to be mine from beginning," J.R. says inside his head. John Ross Ewing III tells himself, "I've spent my whole life trying not to be his son," as Bobby wishes that his adopted son Christopher and his nephew do not get into the family's feuds.

New Ad of 'Dallas' Reboot Recreates Shower Scene From Original Show

TNT promotes the upcoming "" reboot by taking on a shower scene from the original show. In a newly released ad, Patrick Duffy's Bobby Ewing recreates his iconic pose, which only appeared in a dream on the 1980s' series.

This time, however, he's not alone since his brother, Larry Hagman's J.R. Ewing, joins him in the shot. Also featured in the picture are their sons, played by and Josh Henderson, who are clad in towel. It additionally has a tagline which reads, "They're Back. And No, You're Not Dreaming."

Winter is just coming, but TNT has been promoting its summer series "" by debuting a new trailer. It shares some new scenes which highlight the dramas revolving the Ewing clan. In between the show's footage, new and old faces are seen gathering on a roundtable to discuss what makes the show special.

The upcoming show will serve as a continuation to the 1980s prime time soap opera of the same title. It still revolves around the Ewings, a wealthy Texas family in the oil and cattle-ranching industries.

The updated version will now focus on his son, John Ross Ewing III, and Christopher Ewing, the adopted son of Bobby Ewing. Portrayed by Josh Henderson and , the two young men will carry on their families' rivalries.

Larry Hagman is set to don his Stetson again after signing up to star in the upcoming"" remake. The actor played ruthless oil tycoon J.R. Ewing in all 13 seasons of the TV phenomenon but recently admitted he wasn't sure if he wanted to return for the new update.

He said, "I don't know if it's worth it. I'm thinking about it. I'd like to know who's doing it, who's writing it and who's in the show. I don't want to work every day and I'd like not to have to promote it. So, we'll see."

Pilot episodes of the updated Dallas are set to be aired on the TNT network and the secrecy surrounding the plot and cast have prompted gossips to start guessing at who may be the new J.R., Sue Ellen, Bobby and Pam Ewing.

Former "" action man Sutherland, "" beauty Love Hewitt and "" hunk Holloway have all been linked to the show in recent weeks - but they won't be part of the remake, their individual reps have confirmed to GossipCop.com. But Holloway is in talks for another TV remake - the "Lost" star is the favorite to lead the cast of "The Rockford Files" back to the small screen.
