has signed off from "The Daily Show" after 16 years hosting the Comedy Central program. A bunch of his celebrity friends dropped by during his final broadcast on Thursday, August 6, making it a sweet reunion with some of the show's alumni.

After assigning his current correspondents to cover the presidential candidate debate, former correspondents and Samantha Bee showed up with to cover the debate. Stewart thanked them for returning and Carell said, "I never left, Jon. Becoming an international superstar is just something I did while I was waiting for my next assignment."
