December 14, 2011 02:12:18Jon Stewart tried to make sense "All-American Muslim" boycott from the Florida Family Association, but ended up finding no reason to complain about the show. Expecting the TLC program to be about "jihadi propaganda", he dubbed it "the most boring reality show alive" featuring "Muslims living their lives like the rest of us f***ing idiots" when addressing the controversy on "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart".
Stewart then played footage which features the Executive Director of FFA explaining the reason they boycott "All-American Muslim". After learning that the group opposes the show because it does not depict the images of violent fundamentalist Muslims, the Comedy Central host concluded, "This show is harmful education-wise to your belief structure."

December 02, 2011 10:12:22The annoying fire alarm that interrupted the Tuesday, November 29 broadcast of Brian Williams' "NBC Nightly News" provided a lot of jokes on the Wednesday episode of "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart". Jon Stewart mocked the anchor who persistently delivered the news despite the emergency announcements and told the viewers at home, "You'll forgive us, we have a fire alarm going off here in the studio."
"No I will not forgive you," Stewart commented after a clip of the incident from "Nightly News" was played on his satirical news program. "I do not tune in to the number one national newscast to have my current events interrupted with technical hijinks," he added before mocking Williams' reaction.

During a TV chat with British actress Keira Knightley on Monday, May 9, Stewart explained he had requested taped footage from inside Westminster Abbey in London on the big day - but the powers that be refused to let him have it.

'Daily Show With Jon Stewart' Pays Tribute to Greg Giraldo
October 01, 2010 10:10:22Jon Stewart managed to slip a tribute to his friend Greg Giraldo who passed away on Wednesday, September 29 afternoon. The comedian was taken off life support by his family after accidentally overdosing over prescribed pills and went into coma for several days.
Stewart and his "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" team acknowledged the comedian's death in the pre-taped episode by changing the "Moment of Zen" segment to "Moment of Greg". Stewart said in remembrance, "When you were working the clubs, he was just one of those guys that you loved to run into, because he was always a font of warmth and good humor and just smart-as-hell comedy."

Robert Pattinson Confirmed for 'Daily Show' Appearance
February 26, 2010 03:02:45Robert Pattinson will sit down for a talk with a Stewart, but not the one people would expect. The "The Twilight Saga's New Moon" is confirmed to visit "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" on Tuesday, March 2, the same day he would do "The View" with Emilie de Ravin.
The booking has been confirmed by a representative for the show to Gossip Cop. The appearance on the talk show is part of his marathon in promoting "Remember Me", a drama which sees him as a troubled teenager and will hit theaters in U.S. on March 12.
