'CSI' Renewed for 14th Season, Ted Danson and Other Main Stars to Return
March 21, 2013 10:03:24CBS has ordered a new season of "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation", bringing back the show for a 14th installment. Along with the show's renewal, the stars including Ted Danson, Elisabeth Shue and George Eads extend their deal with the procedural drama series.
"CSI is synonymous with CBS, and we are so proud of the series' creative and commercial legacy and its continued success on our Network," says Nina Tassler, President, CBS Entertainment.

Named Alison, the SAG-winning actress' character is dubbed "the apple of her banker father's eye." She grew up in a well-to-do and well-established family and rebelled against her father by marrying the iconoclastic criminalist Russell.

He wasn't just home-schooled, he was van-schooled."

April 26, 2011 02:04:25"CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" has added an actress to its regular cast line-up. Elisabeth Harnois, who originally only signed on to guest star in the May 5 episode, was expected to return for more episodes and has now been promoted as a regular on the CBS drama series.
Harnois was initially scheduled to appear in one episode as the estranged daughter of Conrad Ecklie (Marc Vann). She works for the Los Angeles Police Department and helps the Las Vegas crew hunt down serial killer Nate Haskell (Bill Irwin).

Louise Lombard's Sofia Curtis Is Back on 'CSI'

Her comeback is staged along with the return of serial killer Nate Haskell, played by Bill Irwin. In the eighth season opener, her departure was never explained but executive producer Carol Mendelsohn said that Sofia is now in a different place. "Sofia's a deputy chief now. It is now reported that Helgenberger's contract would indeed expires at the end of the season but the actress is expected to return in some capacity next fall. Helgenberger told People, "We're talking maybe [only] doing a few episodes".

But unlike Swift's character who died as a victim, Bieber's Jason McCann died the bad man. Turns out the troubled teenager is held responsible for the master plan this whole time. Just like Bieber tweeted, McCann is a "badass".
The February 17 episode began with Nick Stokes receiving a call from McCann who warned the investigator of not going home. Stokes went home anyway and escaped a booby trap planted in his front yard. As the tipper, McCann was brought in to the station for some questioning, but he remained tight-lipped.

New 'CSI' Clips Tease Justin Bieber's Return as Jason McCann
February 15, 2011 10:02:27Ahead of the February 17 episode of "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" which will see the return of Justin Bieber as troubled teen Jason McCann, two new clips are brought forward as teasers. Jason is in another trouble - he calls Nick (George Eads) to warn him of an impending danger.
Langston (Laurence Fishburne), meanwhile, testifies against the notorious "Dick & Jane" killer, Nate Haskell. One of the new "CSI" clips is a courtesy of MTV and can be found in the following video, while the other comes out exclusively via Entertainment Weekly. The forthcoming episode is titled "Targets of Obsessions".
