'The Amazing Race' Season 26 Winners Found 'a Lasting Friendship' on the Show

The round-the-world trip of "" season 26 ended as the finale aired on Friday, May 15. The final four teams, Jenny & Jelani, Hayley & Blair, Laura & Tyler as well as Mike & Rochelle, flew to Dallas at the beginning of the episode and headed to AT&T Stadium, where they faced a Roadblock.

A member of each team had to dress in a Dallas Cowboys uniform and was shot up to the very top of AT&T Stadium where they had to retrieve a playbook. After returning to the ground, they had to catch a touchdown pass and score a field goal. Tyler finished first, followed by Blair.

Love is in the air on "" season 26 which features dating couples and the show has apparently helped a couple's love grow even stronger. In the latest episode of the CBS reality series, a contestant, Matt, proposed to her girlfriend Ashley at the pit stop.

They arrived at the finish line, Baba Nest Roof Top Bar located atop a gorgeous mountain in Phuket, Thailand after some drama, as Matt left his fanny pack at the previous location and had to get back to retrieve it.

Gearing up to kick off the new season, "" has announced the cast for its 26th edition. As revealed before, the contestants include 11 dating couples, six of whom are already in a relationship, while the other five will meet for the very first time at the starting line when they are set up on "the most extreme blind date ever."

The preexisting dating couples include 's member Jonathan Knight & his partner Harley Rodriguez, as well as Olympic medalists Aly Dudek and Steven Langton. The newly paired contestants include a Vegas showgirl, two lawyers and a pageant consultant among others.

After traveling through 20 cities in eight countries across the globe, the remaining teams on " 25" returned to the States in the season finale. The episode began with four teams as no one was eliminated in the previous leg.

While Amy DeJong and Maya Warren who finished fourth in the previous episode benefited from the twist, the other three teams were not happy with this. "It's kind of frustrating that they weren't eliminated," said Adam Dirks.

The three remaining teams of "" season 24 were finally back in the U.S. after traveling across three continents and through eight countries. Father and son Dave & Connor, country singers Caroline & Jen, as well as newlyweds Brendon & Rachel were vying for the winning title and the grand prize in the final leg.

The teams flew from London to Las Vegas. En route to MGM Grand, they had to find a box that contained 50 keys in the desert that they would need in the Roadblock. The Roadblock was a great escape challenge created by illusionist David Copperfield.

An early departure kicked off the 24th edition of "". In the season premiere aired on Sunday, February 23, host Phil Keoghan revealed that William "Bopper" Minton could not participate in the competition because he was diagnosed with an inflamed pancreas just the night before the race.

While Bopper was forced to withdraw from the competition, his friend Mark Jackson stays in the race with a new partner. He chose Mallory Ervin, who had played before in season 17 and 18, as his new teammate.

After almost a month on the road, the contestants of "" season 23 made a trip back to the U.S. In the first leg, the remaining four teams left Indonesia for Tokyo, Japan. Jason and Amy were the first to leave. They formed an alliance with Tim & Marie and Travis & Nicole to try to get rid of Leo and Jamall, who would face a Speed Bump for arriving the last in the previous leg.

Leo and Jamall were on a different flight with the three teams, but the cousins arrived first. They headed to the Gotokuji temple where they faced a Detour. It's a choice between Knock It Down and Call It Up. For the former, both team members would become human bowling balls, while for the latter, one person would get in a phone booth full of water and goldfish and make a phone call. They had to tell their teammate what they heard on the phone.

After weeks of traveling to 10 countries across the globe, "" finally brought the remaining teams back to the United States in the season 22 finale. First, however, the four teams were headed to Belfast, Northern Ireland from Edinburgh, Scotland.

They faced the Roadblock in Peatlands Park where they had to bog snorkel. Anthony Battaglia finished first, followed by Katie Bichler and Mona Egender, while Jennifer Kuhle completed it on her third attempt after a pep talk from her team mate Caroline Cutbirth.


American Legion Accepts CBS Apology for Featuring Crashed B-5 on 'Amazing Race'

Almost a week after it was criticized for featuring "insensitive" segment in last week's episode of "", CBS has finally apologized for it. On Sunday, March 24, host Phil Keoghan opened the latest episode by reading a statement expressing their remorse.

"Parts of last Sunday's episode, filmed in Vietnam, were insensitive to a group that is very important to us - our nation's veterans," he said. "We want to apologize to veterans - particularly those who served in Vietnam - as well as to their families and any viewers who were offended by the broadcast. All of us here have the most profound respect for the men and women who fight for our country."

When he finally said "go," the teams jetted off to Bora Bora for their first destination. Chuck & Wynona, Pam & Winnie, Idries & Jamil, Dave & Connor, and Jessica & John took off with the first plane. Meanwhile, the second plane had Max & Katie, Monica & Beth, Anthony & Bates, Caroline & Jen, Joey & Meghan, and Matthew & Daniel.

Hyping up the upcoming premiere of "" season 22, CBS has released a new promo which shows why the show is worth tuning in since the very beginning. The "thrilling, exciting, most fun-filled adventure" is seemingly too much for some contestants as three of the eleven teams will quit before the first episode ends.

In this new installment of the reality show, eleven new teams will travel around the world for $1 million prize. They will "skydive from 10,000 feet in Bora Bora, participate in a Shemozzle race in New Zealand, hunt for scorpions with the Bushmen of Botswana and scale the treacherous north face of the Eiger Mountain in Switzerland."

"" has unveiled the winner of its 21st installment. The season finale aired Sunday, December 9 kicked off with four teams, Lexi & Trey, James & Jaymes, Josh & Brent and Natalie & Nadiya jetting off from Mallorca, Spain to Loire Valley, France.

Twin sisters Natalie & Nadiya had to complete Speed Bump first for finishing last in the previous leg, while the other three teams had to pick up eight empty crates and load them into the Fird Escape before heading over to Leonardo Da Vinci's final resting place, Chateau d'Amboise. The three teams were working together and quickly finished the challenge.

After winning the previous leg, James & Abba were getting ready to start first, but not before rocker James got a call from his wife, who informed him that his father's cancer was on stage 4 and there's no chance for remission.

James turned the bad news into a new spirit for him as he declared that the race was no longer about fun and games. He and Abba were the first to head to a market where they got the next clue. The teams quickly faced Roadblock, which challenged them to build a scale with rope and sticks. Once the scale was approved, they had to balance the weight of 4 rocks.

When "" season 21 returned on Sunday, October 21, the remaining teams departed from Surabaya, Indonesia to Bangladesh. As team number one last week, Abbie & Ryan started off first, but they ended up boarding the same plane with the other teams since there's only one flight to Bangladesh.

Once arriving, the teams headed to a bus repair shop and faced Roadblock, where they had to repair one bus each. They had to fill in the damage, sand it, remove three seats and bring them to a refurbish area to get their next clue.

During the week three of "" season 21, the remaining teams continued their adventures in Indonesia. The first pair to leave were last week's winner Natalie and Nadia, followed by Trey and Lexi, who ended up becoming the first team to get the roadblock.

After hailing pedicabs, the teams got into a local eatery where they got the first challenge. They had to serve Padang meal with 20 plates on their hands all at once. If they drop the plates, they must start over again. The task seemed to be difficult for Lexi as she kept starting the task all over again.

When the second leg of "" season 21 returned on Sunday, October 7, ten remaining teams from last week's premiere in China were racing for more adventures in Surabaya, Indonesia. All the teams booked the same flight to the Southeast Asian country except for Rob and Kelly, who eventually arrived last. The first team to hit the country was James and Abba.

In the following morning, the teams were challenged to ride on mopeds with professional drivers to race against champion bull riders in order to receive the next clue on the game. James and Abba once again became the first to get the clue to the next destination, followed by Amy and Daniel.

The first seven teams to arrive at Los Angeles airport got tickets for the first flight, and they were James & Jaymes, Caitlin & Brittany, James & Abba, Amy & Daniel, Abbie & Ryan, Nat & Nadia and Rob & Kelley. Rob & Sheila, Gary & Will and Trey & Lexi, meanwhile, were on the second flight.

Also signing up for the journey, which spans 25,000 miles and includes visits to Indonesia, Bangladesh and the Netherlands, are Josh Kilmer-Purcell and Brent Ridge, who are known for their reality show "The Fabulous Beekman Boys", Chippendales dancers Jaymes Vaughan and James Davis, as well as a double-amputee snowboarder Amy Purdy.

After traveling around the world, the four remaining teams of "" season 4 left Cochin, India for Hiroshima, Japan in the two-hour finale that aired Sunday, May 6. Dave and Rachel departed first, but they boarded the same plane with the other teams.

Once arriving, they must buy bus tickets, but Rachel R. and Brendon missed the bus to the train station and had to take another bus. Next, the teams must take a train to head to Mariaja Island, but Dave and Rachel missed the train. When Rachel R. and Brendon managed to catch up with the other teams, Dave and Rachel were left way behind since they also missed a ferry.

In the April 29 episode of "", five remaining teams in season 20 continued their journey in India. Brendon and Rachel, who won last leg, departed first and headed to a temple where they encountered a Fast Forward. They, however, couldn't do it since they had used it before.

When Brendon & Rachel R. arrived at the Fast Forward, the latter got emotional when finding out that they had to shave their heads to do it. She burst into tears as she said she needed hair to be pretty, while her team mate was willing to do it. In the end, they decided not to do the Fast Forward.
