Actor/singer Jamie Foxx had to be rescued by security guards on Thursday, February 10 after he was attacked by a man at a Hollywood party featuring R&B superstar Usher. The "Ray" star was a guest at the Belvedere Red bash at Los Angeles hot spot Avalon when he became engaged in a lengthy conversation with another attendee.
According to TMZ.com, a fight erupted between the two men shortly after Usher took to the stage to perform and Foxx was reportedly placed in a headlock. Video footage obtained by the website shows club security intervening in the scuffle and escorting the unidentified male out of the venue.
Police were not called to the scene and no injuries were reported after the incident.
