Local police raided the party due to noisy sound, but Jon Bon Jovi managed to persuade officers to allow him one more song.
Rocker Jon Bon Jovi's end-of-summer party in the Hamptons, New York went out with a bang - his fireworks display attracted the attention of local police. The Bon Jovi frontman laid on a lavish bash for his wealthy neighbors, including Jack Nicholson, at his home in East Hampton on Saturday night, September 4.
He brought his party to a glittering end with a staged set of Bon Jovi tracks and an explosive fireworks display, but cops quickly arrived to close the party down. However, the musician managed to persuade officers to allow him one more song - by inviting the cops in to watch the finale, according to New York Post gossip column PageSix.
In another news, Bon Jovi are set to perform at a concert in conjunction with the Thunder on the Gulf, a boat race at the Gulf State Park Pavilion, on October 15.
