'He's absolutely loony, he's absolutely wasted,' says an owner of the house where Andy Dick was spotted wandering in the middle of the night.
Troubled comic Andy Dick was picked up by cops last week after he allegedly wandered into a house in Los Angeles in the middle of the night - prompting the frightened family to call police. The incident is believed to have taken place just days before Dick was ejected from a California winery on Friday, April 9 when security staff suspected him of being intoxicated.
A taped 911 call from a female resident of the house, obtained by TMZ.com, describes the incident - the unnamed woman claims Dick, who she didn't recognize, wandered into her house in a confused, drunken state. She tells the operator she doesn't think the intruder means any harm, but describes him as "loony" and "absolutely wasted".
She says, "I have an intruder in my house. He walked right into my house, but I don't think he's going to hurt us. My husband took him outside. He's definitely under the influence of something. I'm very scared, please send the cops over. He's absolutely loony, he's absolutely wasted. He said something about he thought his son was here. He's really off his rocker. He's white, he looks well-to-do. He looks like a rich white man. Now my son is following him because he's going over to someone else's house to do the same thing."
Dick was picked up by police officers and escorted home. He was not arrested and the family declined to press charges, according to TMZ.com. The incident is the latest in a string of troubles for Dick - he is currently facing charges of felony first degree sexual assault for allegedly grabbing a security guard's crotch and kissing a male guest at a bar in Huntington, West Virginia without invitation in January. The case will go to court in June.
