Prison-bound rapper Lil Wayne spent his last weekend as a free man partying with friends and family after they threw him a special going away bash in Miami, Florida. The "Lollipop" hitmaker, real name Dwayne Carter, Jr. is due to appear before a New York judge on Tuesday, March 2, when he is expected to be sentenced to a year behind bars for weapons possession.
But Wayne is refusing to let his impending jail time get him down, instead making the most of the time he has left to enjoy the company of his pals on Sunday, February 28, reports TMZ.com.
The hip-hop star was presented with large white and blue iced cake to celebrate his final days of freedom and wish him well with a message that read, "Keep ya head up Weezy! We love u!!!"
