After only 3-month of togetherness, the British comedian has reportedly proposed to girlfriend Katy Perry during Katy's trip to Britain.
Comedian Russell Brand has proposed to his pop star girlfriend Katy Perry, according to U.K. Reports. Brand, who began dating Perry in September 2009, sparked rumors he would settle down with the "I Kissed A Girl" hitmaker after he was photographed shopping for a diamond ring at a Cartier jewelery store in earlier December.
According to Britain's Daily Mirror, the "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" star proposed during Perry's trip to his native Britain last week, December 21. A source says, "He asked her to marry him last week and she quickly said yes."
"They don't know when the wedding will be but they are planning to make it in 2010 if the schedules can work. Russell is searching for a jewelery designer to create a ring in time for the New Year." Spokespersons for Perry and Brand were not available for comment as WENN went to press.
