April Kirkwood makes the revelation when reacting to Theresa's new Instagram post amid her divorce, prompting Internet users to put her on blast for her 'insensitive' comments.

AceShowbiz - While most people are shocked by Theresa Nist and Gerry Turner's split, one person may not be that surprised. April Kirkwood, who vied for Gerry's heart on "The Golden Bachelor" alongside Theresa, claimed that she once tried to warn her co-star not to marry Gerry.

April made the revelation when reacting to Theresa's new Instagram post amid her divorce from Gerry. Underneath the post, April wrote in the comments section, "I wish you the very best. I truly tried to tell you but this was your lesson to experience. Much love!"

Fans quickly blasted April for her "insensitive" remarks. "seriously can't believe you said this on sm for everyone to see..and you're a 'friend'..uh no. If you were, you wouldn't have said the middle part..you keep it to yourself or you text her directly..wow.. Unbelievable," one person blasted April.

"I thought you were a therapist? Surely you understand how insensitive your 'I told you so comment ' is," another told her. "We're all here learning on this journey of life… none of us better than anyone else. Please be kind."

One other added, "April we love you but this was a personal message not meant for public comment." Other comments, meanwhile, included, "A reputable therapist would never post this" and "No class."

In her heartfelt post, Theresa appeared to express gratitude to everyone supporting her during the trying time. "To everyone who has expressed love, support and kindness to me I thank you from the bottom of my heart," she penned. "You are all such wonderful human beings. It means the world to me that you took the time to reach out to me, whether in person, on the phone, by text or by direct message. You are all so kind to do so."

"For everyone else who is confused and angry and who does not understand, please try to find it in your heart to understand and to try a little kindness. Not just for me but for the world and for everyone you encounter," she added. "It was one of the most incredible experiences of my life, something I never expected to happen at this point in my life and I truly thought it was going to last forever. It turns out, even at the age of 70, you don't know everything."

"Sometimes things don't go the way you planned and that's okay. I take so many positives away from this experience, most importantly and above all the incredible friends I now have in all of these amazing, wonderful women and in Angie and Jenny, Payton and Charlee, the producers, the production crew and so many of you," Theresa added, before concluding, "I ask you to please stay open to all the experiences, opportunities, and love that may come your way. Keep smiling, keep laughing… I will. I love you all."
