The former 'Lip Sync Battle' co-host and the 'All of Me' hitmaker cannot agree on whether to expand their family or not after welcoming second daughter Esti and second son Wren in 2023.

AceShowbiz - Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are at odds over whether to add to their growing family. Following the birth of their fourth child, Wren Alexander Stephens, via surrogacy in June 2023, Teigen expressed her immediate desire for another baby. However, Legend swiftly dismissed the idea with a firm "no!"

At City Harvest's 2024 Magic of Motown Gala, Teigen voiced her yearning for a fifth child, saying, "As soon as Wren started walking, I'm like, 'Ah I want another.' " The couple, who shares 7-year-old daughter Luna and 5-year-old son Miles, welcomed their second daughter, Esti, in January 2023 through IVF. However, despite Teigen's desire for a fifth, Legend remains firm in his decision.

The couple has experienced heartbreak in the past. In October 2020, Teigen suffered a miscarriage at 20 weeks. However, she later revealed that the loss was actually a "life-saving abortion."

In June 2023, Teigen announced the arrival of Wren via surrogacy. She explained that she had sought a surrogate due to uncertainties about her ability to carry another child.

While Teigen remains hopeful for a fifth child, Legend's resolve against further expansion is unwavering. The couple's differing views highlight the challenge of balancing personal desires with practical considerations.
