Celebrating the once-in-a-lifetime moment, the host of 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' and the rock band offer a duet performance onstage on a rooftop.

AceShowbiz - Jimmy Fallon has had a creative way to celebrate the 2024 total solar eclipse with Heart. On "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon", the host of the TV program was documented taking the stage with the rock band to deliver "Total Eclipse of the Heart" together.

In a video uploaded on Monday, April 8, the 49-year-old host was filmed stepping on a stage on the rooftop at 30 Rockefeller Plaza for a once-in-a-lifetime performance of Bonnie Tyler's 1983 hit titled "Total Eclipse of the Heart". In the beginning of the clip, he explained, "We have a special show tonight. Heart is our musical guest and today is absolutely the solar eclipse."

Jimmy went on to spill, "So, we thought we have to do what we have to do. We have to sing 'Total Eclipse of the Heart' with Heart while watching the solar eclipse," before putting on a pair of glasses. He added, "Let's do this!" He was then seen standing next to Ann Wilson, lead vocalist of the band, on the stage.

While Ann sang, "Every now and then, I get a little bit lonely/ And you're never coming 'round," Jimmy serenaded in between the lines, "Turn around/ Turn around." Ann continued, "Every now and then, I get a little bit tired/ Of listening to the sound of my tears." In the video, it could be seen that Jimmy was turning his body around several times during the duet performance.

Together, Ann and Jimmy then sang, "And I need you now tonight/ And I need you more than ever/ And if you only hold me tight/ We'll be holding on forever/ And we'll only be making it right/ 'Cause we'll never be wrong/ Together, we can take it to the end of the line/ Your love is like a shadow on me all of the time (All of the time)/ I don't know what to do and I'm always in the dark/ We're living in a powder keg and giving off sparks/ I really need you tonight/ Forever's gonna start tonight."

Jimmy continued singing while getting on his knees. He later slowly stood back up and facing the camera. As he sang, "Turn around, bright eyes/ Turn around, bright eyes," he took off his glasses and hilariously flaunted his "bright eyes."
