Former House Majority leader Tom DeLay will get the assistance of Cheryl Burke who almost became a third-time champ last season had Shawn Johnson and Mark Ballas not win. Ballas himself this time around will lead actress Melissa Joan Hart. They had tweeted each other on Friday, August 21 with Hart greeting "Hiya partner! I'm so excited to get this season started! Can't wait to waltz tomorrow."

August 18, 2009 10:08:54Names of celebrities that will show their dancing skills on the upcoming season of "Dancing with the Stars" have been revealed. Announced through "Good Morning America" on Monday, August 17, the line-up includes singer Kelly Osbourne and excludes designer Vera Wang.
Contrary to early rumors, Wang will not appear in this season, neither will Dean McDermott, Audrina Patridge and Lou Ferrigno. But the group is diverse in its own way because for the first time, it includes a former House Majority leader, Texan Congressman Tom DeLay.

Gawker first reported the tape by posting an edited version of the video on Monday, August 17.
The more-than-three-minute footage featured Eric, Rebecca, and Kari all naked. The seemingly intoxicated companions were featured in the video passing a camera around in a bedroom and a bathroom. This rock band received two kudos at the annual awards. They were named Best International Band, winning over Green Day, Metallica, Madina Lake and Lamb of God. They also got Best Live Band title, beating Metallica, Enter Shikari, The Prodigy and Gallows.
Comic Con 2009: Full Saturday and Sunday Schedule Announced
July 13, 2009 01:07:10San Diego Comic Con International has finally put out its complete 2009 programing with the announcement of Saturday, July 25, and Sunday, July 26, schedules. With the outing of the last two days line-up, it is uncovered that "Iron Man 2" is indeed scheduled for the third day of the annual convention.
The Saturday schedule announcement confirmed that Paramount Pictures and Marvel Entertainment will present the "Iron Man" sequel from 04:00 P.M. - 05:00 P.M. at Hall H. It is unclear though whether director Jon Favreau and any member of the star-studded cast ensemble, such as Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Scarlett Johansson, Mickey Rourke, and Samuel L. Jackson, will make a special appearance during the time.

'Underworld: Rise of the Lycans' Settled for Second Slot at Box Office

Though grossing $20.8 million on its opening weekend, the Patrick Tatopoulos-directed film was still unable to steal the top position from "Paul Blart: Mall Cop".
"Rise of the Lycans" actually started the weekend strong. On Friday, January 23, it led the box office with $7.9 million in its pocket and overshadowed the $5.6 million bow of "Paul Blart". As the weekend ended, it was then unveiled that the "Underworld" prequel has become the weakest of the "Underworld" franchise as "Underworld: Evolution" opened to $26.9 million and "Underworld" brought in $21.8 million in its first weekend.
Final 'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince' Trailer Possibly Attached to 'Inkheart'

According to MuggleNet, Portkey.it has reported that the final full-length trailer for "Half-Blood Prince" could be making its debut this coming Friday, January 23.
The publication further noted that the new trailer is most likely to be attached to another adventure fantasy movie released in the U.S. on the expected date, "Inkheart". It is still unclear though whether this claimed-to-be final trailer for "Half-Blood Prince" will be containing similar footage as the Japanese trailer, which screen shots include scenes of Bellatrix attacking Hagrid's Hut and Snape on the Astronomy tower with Harry among others.

Among the wide-ranging list of more than 60 movies selected for the competitions are Lee Daniels-directed Harlem drama "Push (2009/II)", Pierce Brosnan-starrer family drama "The Greatest", Lone Scherfig's "An Education" and Max Mayer's romantic drama "Adam".
Commenting on this year's selections, Sundance Film Festival's director Geoffrey Gilmore said, "This year's films are not narrowly defined. Instead we have a blurring of genres, a crossing of boundaries: geographic, generational, socio-economic and the like." The alert was issued because, according to the agency, a bartender who was working at Socialista in between Feb. 7, as well as Feb. 8 and 11, was infected with the disease.

In the project, set 1,000 years ago, DiCaprio reportedly has been billed as Brian Boru, the High King of Ireland, while Jones his nemesis, Ivor of Limerick. Story is said to put focus on the king, who united the country in battle against a Viking threat.

An important detail is coming up from glam metal band Poison's newest album "Poison'd!". The album that offers a selection of classic rock tune covers has revealed its heavily anticipated tracklisting. The 13 tracks are ranging from David Bowie's "Suffragete City" up to Grand Funk Railroad's "We're An American Band".
On January 3, the band posted on their official My Space page that they need the help from fans to pick songs for the album. Some suggested the band covering Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Freebird," Sweet's "Ballroom Blitz," and AC/DC's "You Shook Me All Night Long". None of the songs was included in the record along with the obvious suggestion of Alice Cooper's "Poison." The band however kept Sweet and Alice Cooper in mind and decided to do their other songs.
