AceShowbiz - Florence Pugh is returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) for "Thunderbolts", currently filming in Atlanta. In a video shared on Instagram, the actress gave fans a sneak peek of the set and her character's suit.

"Hey guys, how are you doing? I know I've dropped off for a little bit, but that's partially because I was whisked off to Atlanta to shoot a movie that I'm not really supposed to talk about," Pugh said in the video.

"But I can show you things, sneakily, as long as you don't tell anyone...I can show you a sneak peek of the set."

The video shows Pugh in full costume as Yelena Belova, the assassin she first played in "Black Widow" and later reprised in the Disney+ series "Hawkeye." The camera pans over Yelena's suit, revealing its sleek design and combat-ready features.

"Thunderbolts" is based on Marvel Comics and features a team of antiheroes and reformed supervillains. Pugh's Yelena Belova is expected to join a cast that includes Sebastian Stan (Winter Soldier), Hannah John-Kamen (Ghost), Wyatt Russell (John Walker), Olga Kurylenko (Taskmasker), and David Harbour (Red Guardian).

The film's plot details remain under wraps, but in the comics, the Thunderbolts have been led by Baron Zemo, a former Nazi scientist who initially posed as a villain to infiltrate and destroy the Avengers. However, the team's dynamic has evolved over time, with members who have genuinely reformed or are seeking redemption for past actions.

"Thunderbolts" is scheduled to premiere on May 2, 2025. Pugh's video on Instagram offers fans an exciting glimpse into the behind-the-scenes action of the upcoming MCU film.
