AceShowbiz - Sofia Vergara has received thoughtful support from her loved ones. One day after her estranged husband Joe Manganiello filed for divorce, the "America's Got Talent" judge was showered with flower bouquets that were sent to her home.
On late Thursday, July 20, the 46-year-old actress uploaded a number of photos showing off two massive colorful flower arrangements from her friends. In one Instagram Story, she displayed a white bowl full of orange and pink flowers. Over the snap, she mentioned OFIRA Jewels and Lorraine Schwartz. She also added a colorful heart sticker just above the tags.
Another snap shared by the "Modern Family" star captured a white vase containing many blush and white roses. The bouquet was placed on top of a white and gray marble table. She tagged her pal and famous florist, Jeff Leatham, over the photo and let out a sparkling pink heart-shaped diamond sticker.
Sofia's Stories were shared just one day after Joe officially filed for divorce in the Los Angeles County Superior Court. In the legal documents that were submitted on late Wednesday, July 19, Joe's lawyer Laura Wasser, per reported by TMZ, cited irreconcilable differences as the reason behind their separation.
The filing uncovered that the two had a prenup, and Sofia was not interested in contesting the prenup. As also seen in the documents, Joe urged the court to clearly state that he and Sofia will each keep the assets they have accumulated throughout their 7-year marriage, including jewelry and earnings. He additionally requested that each party pay the fees of their attorney.
A few days before the legal docs were filed, reports came out that Sofia and Joe's separation was contributed from the differences in their lifestyle. In a report published on Tuesday, July 18, a source told The Sun, "I don't think Joe was ever really comfortable in a giant Los Angeles mansion or on the beaches of Saint Tropez. He saw that stuff for what it was and only let it into his life because it made Sofia happy."
"No way is Joe staying in Beverly Hills now that he's out of this marriage, and I would not be shocked if he found some modest small town to settle down in," the source continued. "He misses the backyard barbecues and friend group he had in the early days of his career, and he tried to recreate that vibe during this marriage, without much success."
