The Samantha Jones depicter in the 'Sex and the City' franchise responds to writer Evan Ross Katz's ticklish tweet about her answer to reading the third film's script.

AceShowbiz - Kim Cattrall has poked fun at her refusal to return for "Sex and the City 3" movie. On Wednesday, July 5, the actress famous for her portrayal Samantha Jones in "Sex and the City" franchise gave her honest response to a social media post about her reaction to the script of the third movie.
Making use of Twitter, the 66-year-old actress, who had previously made headlines for her exit from the franchise, simply exclaimed, "Ha!!!" She was responding to writer Evan Ross Katz's ticklish post about how she said "NO" to the second movie sequel.
Earlier that day, Evan took a jab at Kim by using a Paris Fashion Week photo of Shakira wearing a white coat decorated with the word "NO." Along with the photo, he tweeted, "Kim Cattrall after reading the SEX AND THE CITY 3 script."
After Kim reacted to his tweet, Evan did not shy away from showing his love for the "How I Met Your Father" actress. The scriptwriter wrote back, "Love you. Mean it." In addition, he screenshot Kim's reaction to his tweet and shared it with his followers with a tweet that read, "S C R E A M."
Evan's reaction led other Twitter users to also voice their thoughts on Kim poking fun at her refusal to star in the movie. In the replies section, one gushed over Kim by writing, "I love how she just openly mocks them, even though they've just paid her an absolute fortune to make a cameo in AJLT. She really is winning."
Another joined in the fun by commenting, "Should've said the same after reading the script for glamorous." A third shared similar sentiment, "But she was fine with the scripts for Filthy Rich, Crossroads and Glamorous," along with an upside-down smiling face emoji. A fourth added, "Really enjoying her on Glamorous."
Despite her exit from the "Sex and the City" franchise, Kim surprised fans with news that she will make an appearance in the season 2 of its spin-off "And Just Like That...". Still, the actress spilled in a July interview on "Today" that it would only be a cameo one, insisting, "This is as far as I'm gonna go."
Though so, Kim noted that she is not saying goodbye to the character. "I don't think I'll ever say goodbye to Samantha. She's like a lot of other characters that I've done over the years. I get very emotionally attached and protective of my characters. She gave me so much and I'm so appreciative of her," she explained.
