September 05, 2009 02:09:33Two more "Sex and the City" stars have been spotted in New York City to film their parts for the romantic comedy sequel. After Sarah Jessica Parker shot her part as Carrie Bradshaw with Chris Noth's Mr. Big on Tuesday, September 1, it was Kim Cattrall and Cynthia Nixon's turns to take over the Big Apple.
Cattrall who returns to play the scandalous Samantha Jones was spotted arriving for her first day of shooting on Thursday, September 3. She was captured heading to the set wearing a pair of black sunglasses along with a strapless black dress. Joining the 53-year-old on her way to the Manhattan set was costume designer Patricia Field.
Stars Officially Signed, 'Sex and the City' Sequel Gets Thumbs Up

In the latest report related to the much anticipated sequel to "Sex and the City", New Line Cinema spokeswoman Candice McDonough confirmed to the Associated Press that the four main actresses, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon, will indeed reunite for another feature film installment of the popular HBO's TV series.
In addition to the return of the "Sex and the City" stars, AP also announced that writer-director Michael Patrick King has also signed a contract to pen the script for the sequel. "I'm very excited to work with these amazing actresses again and would love to give everyone more information about the sequel...but I'm busy with my 'Sex' life," so King said in a statement released to the trade.

During her appearance on Britain's "The Paul O'Grady Show", the 52-year-old exclaimed to guest-host Spice Girls' Melanie Brown that the sequel is indeed in the pipeline, stating, "Yes there will!"
According to the BBC, the Golden Globe Award-winner even went further by revealing when the production may possibly start. "We will do the sequel next summer," she gushed. "We wanted to the first time, and now we're hopefully doing it again for the second time." Despite her excitement over the sequel, Cattrall pointed out that it was "difficult getting everybody who's so incredibly busy all together at the same time."

Having a slow start, "Sex and the City" the movie is coming to life. The project is being geared with reportedly, four original main cast already on board.

Japanese carmaker Nissan announced Friday July 21st it has pulled a raunchy commercial starring "Sex and the City" actress Kim Cattrall from New Zealand television following complaints over its content.
In the promo for the Japanese automaker's new sedan Tiida, Cattrall plays off her sex-obsessed, promiscuous Samantha Jones on the hugely successful series. And as music reminiscent of the "Sex and the City" theme plays, Cattrall says "Why didn't you tell me it was so big, I just wasn't prepared for it? Ah! That was amazing. Absolutely fabulous! I mean the great body and the way you moved it." A voiceover adds at the end saying, "The all-new Nissan Tiida makes you feel really, really, really good inside."
