While performing his hit tracks from album 'Magna Carta Holy Grail', the 'Holy Grail' rapper eventually asks his audience to stop clapping after he instructs them to stay 'on beat.'

AceShowbiz - Jay-Z could not stand fans' off-beat clapping. During his performance at Pharrell Williams' Louis Vuitton Show for Paris Fashion Week, the " '03 Bonnie & Clyde" rapper requested his fans to clap but it did not go as he expected.

The hilarious moment happened when the 53-year-old was delivering his hit tracks at the event on Tuesday, June 20. During his performance, he instructed his audience to clap their hands. The audience followed his order and started clapping. However, he thought that the crowd's clapping could not keep up with the beat of the song.

The "Dirt Off Your Shoulder" rapper quickly told the crowd, "On-beat though." Upon his instruction, the audience tried to get their claps on beat as he asked. Still, he was not happy with their clapping. He decided to ask them to stop the gesture by saying, "Forget the clap." Although without the clapping, he went on to perform songs from his album "Magna Carta Holy Grail".

After a video of the incident was shared on Instagram by Baller Alert, the post was quickly flooded with comments from social media users. In the comments section of the post, one in particular wrote, "The crowd is NOT being present and wallowing in the greatness. I am annoyed and life is unfair." Another chimed in, "He gave up on them," adding a laughing emoji.

Similarly, a third proposed, "Smfh.... they not vibing at all, we'd be hanging from parts of that stage over here." A fourth penned, "Man put those phones down! Its Hov! They not pumped enough for me." A fifth commented, "Jay is not from the recording era they need to jigga what and put the phones down." A sixth blamed the audience, "Ummm, excuse me crowd but do yall not know who that is .. I hate when crowds are like this."

At the fashion show, Jay-Z was accompanied by his wife Beyonce Knowles. On June 20, she shared a series of photos on Instagram capturing her and her husband's ensembles for the occasion. Beyonce could be seen wearing a long-sleeved button-down yellow-golden embossed shirt, matching long cape and a pair of long matching pants which had knee-high slits on both sides, black open-toe high heels, black sunglasses, a handbag and necklace.

Jay-Z himself sported a long-sleeved button-down white shirt under a buttoned brown embossed vest and a long-sleeved matching blazer. The "Empire State of Mind" hitmaker also donned a pair of matching slim fit pants, glossy black pointed-toe shoes and rounded dark-colored shades.
