AceShowbiz - Director David Ayer just revealed Shia LaBeouf's appearance in his upcoming gritty crime thriller "The Tax Collector". Taking to Twitter on Saturday, August 11, Ayer, who is known for his works on "Suicide Squad" and "Fury", posted a first-look picture of the "Transformers" actor showing off tattoos on his body.

The first teaser photo features LaBeouf sitting on a chair while holding a cup in his right hand and a cigarette in his left hand. LaBeouf's tattoos are clearly seen covering his chest and stomach. One of them reads, "Creeper."

There is also an image of a woman across his chest, while an image of a clown is positioned below it. LaBeouf, who previously starred in "American Honey", sports a buzz cut, dark sunglasses and black trunks in the photo. "#taxcollectormovie," Ayer captioned it.

Written and produced by Ayer, "The Tax Collector" is the director's next gritty crime thriller after "End of Watch" and "Training Day". The plot is being kept under wraps and there's still no information about the release date.

Production house Cross Creek Pictures teams up with Ayer and Chris Long's Cedar Park Entertainment to fund the project. Cross Creek Pictures' credits include "Black Swan", Black Mass", "Everest", "Rush" and "Hacksaw Ridge".

LaBeouf, who just finished filming his upcoming biopic "Honey Boy", will be joined by comedian George Lopez, Lana Parrilla, Bobby Soto and Cheyenne Rae Hernandez in the crime thriller film.

"The Tax Collector" marks the second collaboration between LaBeouf and Ayer. The two previously worked together in "Fury" in 2014. The film gained positive reviews from critics and was a box office success, grossing $211.8 million worldwide. "Fury" is based on Ayer's real-life association with World War II.
