The Jauna de Laiguana-directed visuals finds the duo sharing some steamy scenes together, looking straight at the camera while belting out the sultry track.

AceShowbiz - Shakira is back with a new music video. The Colombian superstar unleashed music video for her Latin track "Trap" featuring Maluma on Friday, January 26. The visuals was directed by Shakira's longtime collaborator and visionary director Jauma de Laiguana.

The black-and-white visuals is simple yet attractive. It sees both Shakira and Maluma lying in murky water before sharing some steamy scenes together, looking straight at the camera while singing the sultry track. "She wants it to be done in different places/ She is tired of disappointments," they sing. "Does not want to know about a heartbreaker/ Call me when you want, baby."

"Trap" is one of the tracks off Shakira's eleventh studio album "El Dorado". The track is a fan-favorite and has already garnered over 14 million streams on streaming service Spotify. In an interview with E! News, Maluma revealed that they were working on the song in Barcelona, when they worked on "Chantaje".

"I told her that there was a genre that is happening in the streets and the underground world," the 23-year-old reggaeton singer told the webloid. "She loved it and then we did a new song. Wait for it, because I think you're going to like it. It's very sensual, but it has a lot of concepts."

Shakira is currently gearing up to embark on a world tour in support of "El Dorado", after postponing the opening dates due to vocal hemorrhage. The trek was supposed to begin in November last year, but she has moved the opening dates to June this year.

"I took the time needed to figure out the best course of my action with my doctors," she said in a statement. "Thankfully, I am so relieved and happy to share with you all that I will be getting back on the road in June 2018 with my El Dorado World Tour in Europe, and the US, with Latin America dates to be announced soon."
