The 28-year-old singer has taken to social media to reveal that the long-awaited album is set to be released this Halloween.

AceShowbiz - Chris Brown has been keeping fans in the dark about his eighth studio album "Heartbreak on a Full Moon" after he unveiled the track list of the double-disc project back in May. He first announced the new album late last year, and now he has finally revealed that the highly-anticipated effort will arrive on October 31.

The "Privacy" hitmaker has taken to his Twitter account to share the good news with fans. He wrote along with a broken heart and a moon emojis, "HEARTBREAK ON A FULL MOON! HALLOWEEN. OCTOBER 31ST."

Hours after announcing the release date, the R&B superstar released a new song called "Questions" off the upcoming album. The dance-friendly song follows up smash hit "Party" featuring Gucci Mane and Usher, "Privacy", and "Pills & Automobiles" featuring Yo Gotti, Kodak Black and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie.

Laced with 40 tracks, "Heartbreak on a Full Moon" serves as the follow-up to "Royalty", which was released in December 2015. The R&B megastar worked on the album in 2016 through 2017, even during his extensive "Party Tour".

"I thought 'Heartbreak on a Full Moon' was a depiction of what my soul wanted to say," he previously said of the album. "It's funny because we're doing a double album. I've done so many records, but all of the records, to me, are personal favorites and I feel like it gets what I want to say across. It gives a vibe. You get nostalgia or you get a sense of individuality."
