Rita Ora then joined in on the fun, performing her newest single "Your Song". Backed by a crew of dancers, the "Black Widow" htimaker completed her colorful performance with some playful choreography.

One of the most-anticipated performers on the show was Louis Tomlinson. The audience practically screamed in excitement throughout their performance. The performance marked the song's debut on an awards show.

EDM group Clean Bandit injected the night with more excitement. They began their performance with a ballad version of "Rockabye" with Leroy Sanchez. Zara Larsson then appeared onstage to join the group to perform their smash hit "Symphony", supported by Santa Monica High School's Samohi Orchestra strings section.

French Montana brought Uganda on the awards show. Joining forces with Swae Lee of Rae Sremmurd, the Moroccan-born spitter delivered an electrifying performance of "Unforgettable". The performance was supported by some dancers who wore tribal costumes while showing off what appeared to be traditional dance moves from Africa.
