The President-elect of the United States calls the 'Hamilton' cast members 'very rude' after they delivered a message of inclusion to his running mate.

AceShowbiz - Donald Trump is not happy with "Hamilton" cast members. The President-elect of the United States calls out the Broadway stars and demands an apology after Brandon Victor Dixon delivered a message on their behalf to Trump's running mate Mike Pence on stage at the end of the show.

"We sir, we are the diverse America who are alarmed and anxious that your new administration will not protect us, our planet, our children, our parents, or defend us and uphold our inalienable rights," Brandon said. "We truly hope this show has inspired you to uphold our American values and to work on behalf of all of us. This is one American story told by a diverse group of men and women of different colors, creeds and origins."

While Pence remained silent, Trump hotly responded on Twitter, "Our wonderful future V.P. Mike Pence was harassed last night at the theater by the cast of Hamilton, cameras blazing. This should not happen! The Theater must always be a safe and special place. The cast of Hamilton was very rude last night to a very good man, Mike Pence. Apologize!"

Dixon replied to Trump's criticisms, "Conversation is not harassment sir. And I appreciate [Pence] for stopping to listen." Daveeds Diggs, an original "Hamilton" cast, agreed, "Hillary [Clinton] was boo'd at @HamiltonMusical during primaries, Lincoln was killed at the theater, Pence was asked to be fair. I say he got off easy."

Many Hollywood stars soon showed their support for the "Hamilton" crew. "@realDonaldTrump please stop bullying people who are simply voicing their concerns. They were not harassing. Please hear US," Jamie Chung tweeted. Paul Wesley wrote on his own page, "This is a tweet from the president elect who is upset by a moving speech made at the theater. He is attempting to silence free speech."

Seth MacFarlane wrote, "I can't be silent on this. I watched the video. The cast was respectful and honest. Quit whining, grow a spine, and suck it up, kid." Rosie O'Donnell fired back at the GOP politician, "APOLOGIZE - THATS RICH - COMING FROM YOU - @realDonaldTrump."

Laura Benanti quipped, "We've entered an alternate universe where heartfelt messages of inclusion are 'harassment' but grabbing women by the p*ssy is 'boytalk.' " Chrissy Teigen also wrote, "Wow @realdonaldtrump is right. I can't believe they would subject poor, innocent Mike Pence to such abhorrent, evil hate speech."

The drama, however, didn't stop there. #BoycottHamilton soon became a trending topic on social media, prompting celebrities to slam and mock it. "How ya gonna boycott Hamilton when it's SOLD OUT!!!!" Emmy Rossum wrote and added a laughing emoji. Jeffrey Wright cracked a similar joke, "#BoycottHamilton? Good luck with that. Tickets are already sold-out past President-elect Troll's impeachment."

Some others offered to use the tickets. Jillian Michaels told her followers, "For everyone who is going to #BoycottHamilton my family, friends, & I will fall on the sword & take your tickets. #wegotyou." Brooklyn Decker wrote, "#BoycottHamilton so I can finally get a ticket."

Meanwhile, the rest warned that the "Hamilton" drama might be set up to distract people from Donald Trump's $25M settlement in the fraud lawsuit over his university. "Let's not get distracted from a $25M Trump U fraud settlement," Sarah Hyland reminded her followers.

Alan Cumming wrote, "Yesterday you paid $25 million to pay off people and bury criminal charges against you. Let's talk about apologizing for that!" Trevor Noah tweeted, "Wow the audience at Hamilton booed so loud that the news didn't hear about Trump paying $25m to settle his fake university lawsuit."

Zach Braff also had the similar response, "When you settle a fraud lawsuit for 25 million dollars but everyone's talking about Hamilton." George Takei commented, "I wonder if Pence went to Hamilton to take our focus off the Trump University fraud settlement. This administration is morally bankrupt."
