Director Bryan Singer has taken to Instagram to share the first look at Blob in the upcoming X-Men movie in anticipation of the new trailer that will arrive soon.

AceShowbiz - The Blob is also returning for "X-Men: Apocalypse". Director Bryan Singer has taken to Instagram to share the first look at the character, who was portrayed by Kevin Durand in "X-Men Origins: Wolverine".
The familiar mutant, who has super strength and impenetrable skin, looks unconscious apparently after a fight with Angel (Ben Hardy). "Mutant Martial Arts. Light as a feather. #MMA #Xmen #xmenApocalypse," Singer captioned the pic.
More new images from the movie have been shared via the official Twitter account in anticipation of the new trailer. The fresh sneak peek will be released Monday, April 25 on 20th Century Fox's YouTube page.

"Apocalypse" is set in 1983. In the film, the immortal titular villain (Oscar Isaac) awakens after thousands of years, recruiting the disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender) and other mutants to create a new world order. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Professor X (James McAvoy) and Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) lead a team of young X-Men to stop their seemingly invincible nemesis from destroying mankind.
Nicholas Hoult (Beast), Rose Byrne (Moira MacTaggert), Evan Peters (Quicksilver), Lucas Till (Havok), Alexandra Shipp (Storm), Sophie Turner (Jean Grey), Tye Sheridan (Cyclops), Olivia Munn (Psylocke), Kodi Smit-McPhee (Nightcrawler) and Lana Condor (Jubilee) also star in the superhero action movie.
It is due out in theaters across the nation on May 27.
