James McAvoy Denies Possible 'Hobbit' Role

That would be an old story because the celebrated "Atonement" star has spoken out about the news denying any involvement on the movie project.
Shedding some lights to the speculation of him being the leading contender for the role, McAvoy calmly put off the fire ignited earlier. In a press junked for his upcoming action movie "Wanted (2008)" in London, the supporting actor to Forest Whitaker in "The Last King of Scotland" addressed the rumor stating that the news is false. "...it's not true by the way, it's all internet rumoring and nothing else I'm afraid," said the 29-year-old. "Sorry."

Joining McAvoy in the negotiation is his wife, the "Notes on a Scandal" actress Anne-Marie Duff. The pair are expected to display their acting talent in the movie which centers around three fugitives who try to escape a gangster known as Perrier.
