The 35-year-old mother of two took to her official website to defend herself against backlashes over her recent nude Instagram photos.

AceShowbiz - Kim Kardashian took to her website, kimkardashianwest.com, to defend herself against criticisms over her nude photos. The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star penned an essay about her frustration with the media and "slut-shaming" phenomena.

"In all seriousness, I never understand why people get so bothered by what other people choose to do with their lives," Kim wrote. "I don't do drugs, I hardly drink, I've never committed a crime - and yet I'm a bad role model for being proud of my body?"

The mother of two got backlashes from celebrities like Chloe Moretz and Bette Midler after she posted a nude selfie on her Instagram account. Kim insisted that criticisms always came back to her sex tape with Ray J in 2007. "It always seems to come back around to my sex tape. Yes, a sex tape that was made 13 years ago. 13 YEARS AGO. Literally that lonnng ago," Kim continued. "And people still want to talk about it?!?!

Kim believed that women could be empowered by different things and she was confident to show off her body. "I am empowered by my body. I am empowered by my sexuality. I am empowered by feeling comfortable in my skin. I am empowered by showing the world my flaws and not being afraid of what anyone is going to say about me," she added.

Fortunately, Kim still had a lot of people who supported her. She noted in her essay that she was grateful to be surrounded by people who loved her, especially her husband Kanye West. "I am empowered by my husband, who is so accepting and supportive and who has given me a newfound confidence in myself. He allows me to be me and loves me unconditionally. I feel so lucky to have grown up surrounded by strong, driven, independent women," the post read.

Celebrities like Miley Cyrus, Abigail Breslin, Ariel Winter and Bella Thorne then chimed in to defend the 35-year-old star. "I think every woman should be allowed to make their own choices with their OWN bodies soo.. and it's not our place to tell them what they can and can't do with their body," Bella wrote on Twitter, responding to Chloe's negative comments on Kim's nude photo.

Kim ended her post by writing, "It's 2016. The body-shaming and slut-shaming - it's like, enough is enough. I will not live my life dictated by the issues you have with my sexuality. You be you and let me be me."
