The self-empowering song, which the 'Pitch Perfect 2' actress wrote with Julia Michaels, precedes her debut album that's due out later this year via Republic Records.

AceShowbiz - Hailee Steinfeld's "Love Myself" is here. The song, which marks the actress-turned-singer's debut single, was scheduled to be released on Friday, August 7, but it unexpectedly hit the web in its entirety a day early.

On the upbeat pop tune, Steinfeld sings about loving herself and not letting anyone stop her from doing so. "I love me/ Gonna love myself, no, I don't need anybody else," the 18-year-old star repeatedly declares in the chorus.

"Love Myself" was written by Steinfeld herself along with Julia Michaels. "It is ultimately about taking care of and indulging yourself. Though it's nice to have someone provide for you - whether that be emotionally, or physically, or with material things - this song really represents the power in providing for yourself," Steinfeld explained the song in a recent chat on "On Air With Ryan Seacrest".

The track will precede the "Pitch Perfect 2" actress' debut album, which is expected to hit the stores later this year on Republic Records.
