Sinead O'Connor Slams Kim Kardashian's Rolling Stone Cover, Calls Reality Star 'C**t'
Celebrity

'What is this c**t doing on the cover of Rolling Stone? Music has officially died. Who knew it would be Rolling Stone that murdered it?' Sinead wrote on Facebook alongside the cover photo.

AceShowbiz - Sinead O'Connor called out Kim Kardashian for landing on the cover of Rolling Stone's July Fourth issue. The Irish singer-songwriter took to her Facebook account on Tuesday, July 14 to post a snap of the magazine cover along with a harsh message directed at the pregnant reality star.

"What is this c**t doing on the cover of Rolling Stone?" so Sinead wrote. "Music has officially died. Who knew it would be Rolling Stone that murdered it? Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh can no longer be expected to take all the blame. Bob Dylan must be f**king horrified. #BoycottRollingStone."

The musician's criticism surprisingly received a lot of support from Facebook users. One supporter commented, "Rolling Stone hasn't been about the music for a long while now." Another added, "The worst choice for a cover in rolling stone history...."

A user who goes by the name Charlie Gipson noted, "Amazing... fake tits, money and no talent get you on the cover of the Rolling Stone! Someone should write a song about that..." Another fan even said that the cover choice was "extra annoying," adding, "Do the Kardashians really have to be everyf**kingwhere?"

However, some fans defended Kim and considered Sinead had gone too far. "You know Sinead O'Connor I freaking adore you... however calling anyone the C word especially on social media, and especially given your status in the music world its disappointing," a user commented.

Another wrote, "Not cool calling another woman the C word. If anything is Rolling Stone fault of putting her on the cover. And who wouldn't accept to be cover of the Rolling Stone? Bob Dylan probably doesn't give a toss of who is or who isn't the cover of this magazine."

Sinead isn't the the first person blasting Kim over the magazine cover. Earlier this month, KISS' Paul Stanley slammed the reality star on Twitter. "#KimKardashian on the COVER of @RollingStone. Took us 40 years. Enough said," he wrote at that time.
