One of the houseguests has an identical twin and they will switch places throughout the season while keeping the secret from other contestants.

AceShowbiz - As if the BB Takeover doesn't promise a lot of surprises throughout the season, "Big Brother 17" announced another big twist in the Wednesday, June 24 season opener. The show brought back the twin twist that was first introduced in season 5.

It's revealed that one of this season's houseguests has an identical twin and they both will switch places to play the game as one person. If they survive the first five evictions without getting found out, both siblings will enter the game and compete as individuals. Just like the other houseguests, viewers have no idea which contestant who will swith places with his/her identical twin.

Another returning twist in this season is last season's Battle of the Block, in which two Head of Households chosen each week will compete against the nominated players. If the nominated players win in the competition, they can choose to dethrone the HoHs.

Also in the first episode, Audrey Middleton revealed to other contestants that she's a transgender. The reactions were positive as they all praised her and said that they wouldn't have guessed it.

Meanwhile, James won the first HoH by default.

On Thursday, the first surprise guest will be revealed as a part of the BB Takeover and the second HoH competition will take place.
