'Big Brother' Reveals Cycle 14 Winner, Gets Renewed for 15th Season
September 20, 2012 11:09:47Ditching freedom to live in the "Big Brother" house for more than two months was worth it for one contestant who went home with the $500,000 grand prize in the season 14 finale. When the episode started, Ian Terry, Danielle Murphree and Dan Gheesling were still playing the endurance game for the first part of the final HoH competition.
Dan managed to convince Ian and Danielle to drop the game, so the latter two were battling it out in Part 2, which was a puzzle game. Ian won in the second round and competed against Dan in the third part. Ian defeated Dan in the challenge, which had them completing jury member questions, and thus he secured his place in the final two.

'Big Brother 14': Coaches Hit the Reset Button, No One's Going Home
August 03, 2012 01:08:37The result of the "America's Vote" on "Big Brother" has been unveiled. Before the live eviction show on Thursday, August 2, host Julie Chen announced that viewers chose to give a chance for the coaches to join the remaining eight HouseGuests in the game.
Joe and Frank were nominated for eviction that night, but if any of the coaches hit the reset button, the eviction would be canceled and everyone would play for the Head of Household (HoH). One by one the coaches were called into the Diary Room whether to hit the "Reset Button" or not. Britney, Dan and Janelle chose to hit the button, but Boogie did not.

'Big Brother 14' Could Let Coaches Join the Competition With 'America's Vote'

'Big Brother' Adds New Twist and Reveals Season 14's Houseguests

CBS did not go into details about the new format, neither did they reveal who will come back. Meanwhile, the other 12 contestants will still compete under the old rules for the chance to walk away with $500,000. These houseguests and their bios have been introduced on the show's website.

ABC Says 'There Is No Merit' to CBS' Rip-Off Lawsuit

CBS Threatens to Sue ABC Over 'Big Brother'-Like Show 'Glass House'
May 05, 2012 11:05:00CBS isn't happy that ABC is developing a new show which bears striking similarities to "Big Brother". Just days after the latter announced its upcoming project "Glass House", the former, via the Los Angeles legal firm of Gibson, Dunn and Crutcher, has sent a letter to warn that the Alphabet "will be acting at their own peril if they continue to proceed" with the project.
"CBS has instructed us to pursue all available remedies if this course of conduct continues," the letter also points out. If ABC proceeds with "Glass House", the Eye threatens to sue the Alphabet for violation of the Copyright Act, including breach of non-disclosure agreements and misappropriation of trade secrets.

'Big Brother Brasil' Contestant Under Investigation for Alleged Rape on TV Show
January 18, 2012 08:01:55A contestant of "Big Brother Brasil" has allegedly been caught on camera raping another housemate. In a scene aired on the Brazilian version of "Big Brother", Daniel Echaniz lied next to Monique Amin, who passed out after getting drunk in a house party, and appeared to have sex with her under the covers.
After the seven-minute footage created a buzz, Brazilian police announced on Tuesday, January 17 that they have begun investigating the case. "The young woman denies she was raped and has not pressed charges," Rio de Janeiro police spokeswoman Edileide Macedo said of the alleged victim, 23-year-old Amin. "We continue to investigate the case because it is a public matter."

Shelly's family began receiving death threats after she voted to evict Jeff last week, during which another contestant Daniele Donato was also sent home. Sources said Shelly's family has received numerous phone calls from people threatening violence acts against her husband and 8-year-old daughter.

'Big Brother' to Bring Back Evicted Houseguest

The news surfaces after "Big Brother" fan site Hamster Watch noticed an accidentally posted early poll for this week's America's Vote. Based on the screengrab taken by the site, people are given a chance to see their favorite again on the show by voting on one of the first four evicted HGs.

CBS Responds to Jeff Schroeder's Homophobic Rant on 'Big Brother'
