David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson are pictured filming their scene together in a car during the production in Vancouver.

AceShowbiz - The first official set picture of "The X-Files" revival has been released as production on the new series is currently underway. In the image posted on the show's Twitter account, fans can see a crew member overseeing the filming of a scene, where David Duchovny's Mulder and Gillian Anderson's Scully sit on the backseat of a car, through a monitor.

"EXCLUSIVE: Your first look at Mulder and Scully! #TheXFiles," so reads a caption of the picture. Previously, the stars teased fans with some pictures of chairs marked for the actors and a script page.

In other set pictures obtained by E! News, Duchovny is seen holding Anderson's arms. He donned a green jacket and jeans, while Anderson sported a blue blazer over a white shirt paired with a pencil skirt. They shared laughs with another co-star, Joel McHale, in between takes.

"The X-Files" revival is currently filming in Vancouver for a January 24, 2016 premiere. McHale is added to the cast as Tad O'Malley, a conservative Internet news anchor who becomes an unlikely ally to Fox Mulder.
