In anticipation of her new album "Pageant Material", Kacey Musgraves dropped the official music video for her single "Biscuits". Arriving via Vevo on Wednesday, June 10, the clip has been described by the singer as "Hee-Haw meets Pee Wee's Playhouse meets Wes Anderson."

It opens with a black-and-white scene of the country sweetheart churning butter before she appears in a colorful set filled with people in vintage outfit dancing and having fun together. She pets chickens in one scene and performs alongside "The Muppets"-esque puppet in another.

Released back in March, "Biscuits" was written by Musgraves along with Shane McAnally and Brandy Clark, the same people behind her 2013 hit "Follow Your Arrow". It was recorded in one of Nashville's most historic studios, RCA Studio A.

"Pageant Material", meanwhile, is scheduled to hit the stores on June 23. "The majority of Pageant Material was recorded live - which was a bit of a departure from [predecessor 'Same Trailer Different Park' - and gave it more of a concise, classic sound," the 26-year-old singer said of the forthcoming project in a statement. "All of the incredible musicians were in the same room playing on the entire record, and I think that spirit comes across."
