Kendrick Lamar Kicks Fan Off Stage for Not Knowing the Lyrics of 'm.A.A.d City'

The fan, who happens to be a CEO of the company sponsoring the event Lamar was performing at, was immediately removed from the stage after failing to perform with the rapper.

AceShowbiz - Kendrick Lamar seriously wanted a superfan who knew every word to his "m.A.A.d City" to assist him during his set at the Sweetlife Festival in Maryland over the weekend. So, when he found out a fan he picked didn't meet the requirement, he immediately kicked him off the stage.

Before performing the song for the crowd, Lamar explicitly warned them that whoever joining him must know the lyrics. He later brought out a man named Jonathan Neman who happens to be the CEO and co-founder of Sweetgreen, a company that sponsored the event.

Lamar must've thought he found a perfect fan as the salad chain also made a special salad inspired by him called "Beets Don't Kale My Vibe". The rapper, however, was wrong. Neman failed to rap along and a crew member showed up to escort him off the stage.

The Compton MC then made fun of Neman. He told the audience that female fans tended to perform much better, so he replaced Neman with a female concertgoer named Ayanna who did rap "m.A.A.d City" better.
