Sebastian Koch, Miranda Otto, Alexander Fehling and Sarah Sokolovic are the four actors added as series regulars for the next installment of Showtime's series.

AceShowbiz - "Homeland" is adding four new series regular for its upcoming season 5. Sebastian Koch, Miranda Otto, Alexander Fehling and Sarah Sokolovic have been cast in various roles, including Carrie's new boss and boyfriend.
German actor Koch ("The Lives of Others") will play Otto During, a German philanthropist who is also Carrie's boss. Otto, known for her role as Eowyn in "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy, will star as Allison Carr, the current Berlin Chief of Station, working directly under Saul Berenson.
Also a German actor, Fehling ("Inglourious Basterds") will portray Carrie's boyfriend Jonas Happich, who works as a legal counsel for the During Foundation. As for Sokolovic ("Cold Comes the Night"), she will star as Laura Sutton, an American journalist in Berlin who also works for the During Foundation.
The addition of several German actors is in line with previous confirmation that the upcoming fifth season would be entirely filmed in Germany. Claire Danes is back as Carrie Mathison, Mandy Patinkin reprises his role as Saul Berenson, with Rupert Friend and F. Murray Abraham also returning.
Season five will pick up two years after Carrie Mathison's ill-fated tenure as Islamabad station chief. Struggling to reconcile her guilt and disillusionment with years of working on the front lines in the "war on terror," Carrie finds herself in a self-imposed exile in Berlin, estranged from the CIA and working for a private security firm.
Earlier this year, showrunner Alex Carey teased about Carrie's new romance, "She's going to have a relationship with German intelligence, and that's going to be one of the more interesting relationships this season because they are an ally, but it's a pretty rocky relationship regardless."
