Although Kendall Jenner frequently shares photos of her glamorous life on social media sites, the second youngest member of the Kardashian clan revealed that she actually considered social media an overwhelming part of her life.

Speaking to Sunday Times on Monday, June 1 while promoting her and her younger sister Kylie Jenner's new clothing line which will hit stores on Wednesday, the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star said that she was tired of tons of fake news social media made about her.

"I think social media has taken over our generation," the 19-year-old reality star told the British newspaper. "It's a big part of our lives and it's kind of sad."

"I hate it sometimes, like, I literally want to throw my phone so I can't look at it," Kendall went on saying. "It's all a made-up world if you think about it. Social media, everything, this interview, everything. It's not real. It's pretty crazy."

The model remembered that she once kept her phone tucked away for hours during her family trip to Thailand, so she could enjoy the view along the way. She said that she felt pity for Kylie as she couldn't put her hands off her phone during the trip and didn't get to have the same experience.

"I looked over and Kylie was on her phone the whole time and didn't see one thing that I saw," Kendall said.
