Woodley will become the fourth star to be honored with the award after the likes of Emma Stone, Emma Watson, and Channing Tatum.

AceShowbiz - Shailene Woodley is the next recipient of MTV Trailblazer Award after the likes of Emma Stone, Emma Watson, and Channing Tatum. It has been confirmed that the 23-year-old actress will be handed the award at this year's MTV Movie Awards in April.
Fellow film star Miles Teller has been tapped to hand the award to Woodley. Both of them were co-stars in drama flick "The Spectacular Now".
Speaking of Woodley being presented with the award, Stephen Friedman, President of MTV, had nothing but praise for her. "Shailene Woodley is one of the most talented actresses of this generation," he stated. "Whether baring her soul in emotionally charged roles in 'The Descendents' and 'The Fault in Our Stars' or igniting our imagination in sci-fi blockbusters like 'Insurgent', Shailene has raised the bar for actresses navigating diverse and challenging roles professionally, while personally remaining down-to-earth and accessible to her fans."
The upcoming 2015 MTV Movie Awards is set to be held on April 12 at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, California. The event will mark the 24th installment of the awards show.
