Tess posted on YouTube on Tuesday, March 17 a video of herself explaining why she was missing in action and encouraging new hashtag trend #FindYourself.

AceShowbiz - Tess Boyer, the former "The Voice" contestant who appeared on the sixth season of the show, has set the record straight after she was reported missing and her friends started hashtag #FindTessBoyer on Twitter on Tuesday, March 17. Tess posted on YouTube a video of herself titled "#FindYourself-Tess Boyer".
"I just wanted to let everybody know that I'm completely fine. I'm very safe. I'm not missing. I'm here at my house," she said in the 1-minute video, before explaining, "I took a break from social media and from my phone and from different events in my life to completely clean out everything and to get back to where God's purpose for me is and to get back to the root of what His purpose, destiny and calling is in my life."
She added, "That's why I sacrificed everything, so I can find out who that is and who He has called me to be, according to His will. Because I've taken this break from social media and I'm now breaking my sacrifice I've really been aware of and my eyes have opened up to just how being on this end of this spectrum is. And I've just wanted to say stop hashtagging #FindTessBoyer because I'm here, but hashtag #FindYourself. Thanks."
Earlier in the day, Tess' friends made #FindTessBoyer trend on Twitter after she stopped returning calls, showing up to college and removed her social media accounts. Her father Pastor Roy Boyer later told Gossip Cop that she was "fine" and "not missing."
