AceShowbiz - The cast ensemble of Paramount's upcoming comedy flick "Daddy's Home" welcomes a new addition, actor Billy Slaughter. The newly recruited star's part hasn't been revealed, but he would surely share screen with on-board cast Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg just to name a few.

"Daddy's Home" tells the story of "a mild-mannered radio executive, played by Ferrell, who strives to become the best stepfather to his wife's two children, with Wahlberg playing the freeloading father who gets in the way of that," Variety reported. Sean Anders has been tapped to direct from a script by Brian Burns, with John Morris on board producing alongside Ferrell, Chris Henchy and Adam McKay. Release date of "Daddy's Home" hasn't been set just yet.

Billy Slaughter recently starred on Sundance TV's "The Red Road" alongside Jason Momoa and Martin Henderson. He, in the meantime, has signed on to act in Warner Bros.' new movie "Focus", starring Will Smith and Margot Robbie, which will hit theaters this coming Friday February 27.
